Havering Anticoagulation Service


Our Anticoagulation Clinic in Havering has been running successfully since December 2009.

The service has been developed with the support of the Anticoagulation Team at Queens and King George Hospital. Our pharmacists have been specially trained to provide this service and work to the same standards as the hospital clinics.

The Service


Our Service in Havering Offers: -

Immediate INR (the time it takes for blood to clot) test results using finger-prick method.

Adjustment of warfarin dose, if needed.

Ongoing patient and family education about conditions and treatments.

Reports to your doctor.

Domiciliary Visits for Housebound Patients.

Eligibility for Treatment
All patients receiving treatment must have a referral from the Anticoagulation Clinic at Queens Hospital or King George Hospital.

The Main Clinic at Britannia Pharmacy, 36 Corbets Tey Road, London, is open (with prior appointment) as follows:-

and Home visits
9.30am – 18.30pm


Clinic Locations


The Main Clinic Pharmacy is located on Corbets Tey Road.

It is well served by local bus routes:

• The No. 370 bus travels in both directions Corbets Tey Road.

The pharmacy is a 10 minute walk from the Upminster underground station (District Line) and Upminster Rail Service (C2C).

There is a free and paid parking facility to the side and rear of the pharmacy.
